To kick off LGBT+ History Month, we sat down for a chat with Zander Murray, the first openly gay footballer in Scotland’s senior leagues. Going on to campaign tirelessly for LGBTQ+ rights within football and wider society, Zander’s received multiple awards for his game-changing ambassador work and featured in documentaries including BBC’s ‘Rylan: Homophobia, Football and Me’.
Watch now to learn about our host Alastair and Zander’s experiences coming out – including Zander hanging up on the Lorraine Kelly. Plus, find out what briefs he’s most likely to say yes to, how to get LGBT+ representation in sport right, and (most importantly) the difference between a vest and a cardigan.
